Amin Abdullah

Amin Abdullah was born in Palu, Central Sulawesi and he is passionate about music. He received his Doctoral degree from University of Indonesian in 2013 on music, identity and cultural policy in Indonesia. He graduated from master program of performing arts studies in Institut Seni Indonesia (Indonesia Institute of Arts), Yogyakarta in 2004.

And Amin obtained his second master degree is from University of Hawai’i at Manoa in 2005 which was supported International Fellowship Program (IFP) funded by the Ford Foundation. His bachelor degree was also from Indonesia Institute of Arts, Yogyakarta and graduated in 1994. Amin started his career as the head of the Arts Section, the Culture and Tourism Office of Central Sulawesi Province Government in 2007 – 2009. Later on, he became the Head of the Industrial Film Section, the Tourism and Creative Economy Office of Central Sulawesi Province Government in January through December 2014. In January until December 2015, Amin was appointed as the Head of the Event, Festival and Exhibition Section, The Tourism and Creative Economy Office of Central Sulawesi Province Government in January to November 2015). Since December 2015, Amin is the Head of The Sub-Directorate Creative Economy for Public Education, Indonesia Creative Economy Agency, Jakarta.
